Child Enterprises recently helped in the construction of the City Creek
Project in downtown Salt Lake City. Our contributions included
restoration and reconstruction of the Historic Amussen Facade,
restoration of the Desert Building, and masonry installation of the Kirton McConkie Building and the Marriott Wall.

That is so exciting to see the masonry restored and fixed like that. Looks like new!
ReplyDeleteThe whole idea of masonry is so cool and is very creative. Those projects turned out really well and they look amazing. Great work on those and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI live about forty minutes from Salt Lake and I have visited City Creek many times! I never knew that some of the buildings needed to be restored or masonry work done on them. Did your company do tuck pointing to complete the process? I've always thought that restoration is a cool concept because you can help preserve something old for future generations.
ReplyDeleteWow this is sure beautiful masonry! I have been looking into my options in order to find where I might be able find someone that can give me what I am looking for. Can you tell me where I can find more information like this? Or at least more buildings done with this type of masonry?
